[Paddlewise] kayaking mushers

My family and I watched the restart of the Ididarod sled dog race today here
in Wasilla Alaska. (the ceremonial start is in Anchorage but it is too
dangerous to cross Eagle River so they truck the dogs up to here for the real
start) A couple of the mushers when being introduced listed their hobbies as
sea kayaking!  They should reach Nome in 9 to 14 days depending on the trail
conditions and  how well their dogs run so cheer 'em on folks.
