Just iron the edges to seal them. The webbing for the buckles will have to be sewn, however. I find the 200 denier cloth sufficiently durable for most uses, though I did tear one bag by snagging it on a hose clamp inside my stern compartment. It is more flexible than the 430 denier fabric, and for that reason might seal better when the top is rolled down.
