I apologize for not getting back with an earlier update, but I've been recovering in Hawaii. What a life! Ok here's the latest word on Kevin and Garth. K&G passed through Powel River on Monday March 25th. They've had a total of three days of sunshine since leaving on March 10th. However they made the 8 nautical mile crossing of Georgia Straight from Beleanius (sp) to Lasqueti island in 1 hour and 20 minutes. Nice to have a following sea. On Lasqueti they were taken in by gnomes who gave them lodging for the night and transportation to the island bakery for cinnamon buns in the morning. Nice gnomes. Kevin's finding the camping not to be as enjoyable as he'd remembered. No kinding! Gordin Warner (tanned and warm) at last My apologies, to Robert Service, the literary reference should of read Sam McGee and not MacKee.
