Awesome, Fernando. Perhaps this is a new field opening up for you. I would suggest that you contact the manufacturer's and let them know what you are doing and ask for any other advice/info/suggestions for what you are doing. Some of you may remember how I took a disabled paddler in the Old Town Canoe Dimension Solo sot...it had a contoured seat and gave him enough back/leg support to paddle solo...plus it is quite beamy and stable. since he lives nearly two hours away and i don't have the time to take him out regularly i donated the boat to Shake-A-Leg in Miami (they have lots of boats - sail etc. for disabled paddlers). I spoke to them this week and was told that he takes two buses and a train (or something like that) but is able to get there under his own steam, paddle, and then go home again. How's that for independence? So, Fernando, i see this as a good omen. sandy kramer who is going to caracas tomorrow..back on the 14th..but can still access email from my niece's house. *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - Any opinions or suggestions expressed here are solely those of the writer(s).
