Brian- Great idea. I routinely fly into Reagan National and drive to Reston, looking longingly at the Potomac from the GWP. I wonder if it's possible to implement your idea of 'regional contacts' in an area, posted to the paddlewise website. We seem to have AK and DC already. I'd be happy to offer the same (boats and guide service to share) throughout Central & Western NY - but darn few folks come this way. (They probably don't know what they're missing!)
