Scott's invitation to contact him if planning to paddle in Alaska brings up an idea I would like to share. I travel about once a month on business, often to nice paddling spots (Miami tomorrow). I work on the banks of the Potomac River, in Washington, DC and live just off the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland. Could we organize some sort of cooperative in which we can join with other paddlewisenhymers when traveling to their waters? Perhaps a list on the Paddlewise website that lists points of contacts for various cities? I would be willing to loan a boat to a DC area traveler if we can work out the time to paddle together. Is anyone else interested in offering the same thing in your waters?
