I am planning to attend next weekend's Kayak Festival being held in Charleston
S.C .to demo as many kayaks as I can

in order to help me in the purchase of a kayak in the next couple of months.

Does anyone know which Kayak Manufacture Reps that will be at the festival.
Also would like to ask if QCC has ever had a Rep at past festivals.

Thanks.

Based on 3 years' history, Dagger, Perception, Current Designs, S&H,
Kayaksport, Impex, umm..thinking...Walden/Foster Rowe, CLC, Nigel Dennis,
Valley, Heritage, CLC, Prijon, Wilderness Systems, Caretta (I think they
just went out of business), and a couple of solo baidarka builders.

Notably absent: Mariner, Eddyline, (long haul from the left coast, I
guess), Folboat (long haul from the other side of town, I guess :) ),
Betsie Bay, Klepper, Pouch

Regretably, no.

My suggestion would be to start at the Sea Kayak Georgia tent for a wide
variety of options. And don't miss Impex, they have some good new boats.

Wear your t-shirt so other PWers can recognize you. I'll be the
grizzeled-looking guy in the yellow Lattitude.

Who else will be at the symposium? I will be doing the paddle making
class on Friday, outfitting on Sat and Sun. Stop by and say hello.

A little follow-up to my post about manufacturers at ECCKF.

Eddyline boats will probably be there, as they have a dealer in
Charleston now. I was thinking Easy Rider, I guess.
