I can't remember who said it but I'll quote them: "It makes the body easier to find". Anyone involved in any so-called extreme activity or wilderness sport may find themselves in a situation where they need to be rescued. Rescuers, professional or volunteers, risk their lives to do this. Isn't reducing the risks for those people a good enough reason for wearing a PFD? Even if the whole thing went so bad on one of us that the PFD just makes the body easier to find, it still may save other people's lives. My point of view, but you have my permission to share it!
