Rick said it well - I never got into the discussion because it seemed so obvious. If I'm going to Glacier Bay, Alaska with a bunch of kids, all I have to do is say that and I get a bunch of great ideas as to where to paddle. Exactly what I did. It was easy, simple enough for me to do it without any assistance, and I got results. I plan to do the same when I travel and want someone to paddle with. Just post a note to Paddlewise and wait for the offers. Much better, in my view, than a list which will quickly go stale. If this was some other venue, maybe a lot of organizational work would be useful. But this is Paddlewise - friendly, informative, supportive and sponson-free!
