I never kept a log of my paddling, but my best guess
would be close to 4 thousand miles.  It is pretty much
all whitewater and spread over a 20 or so year period
with a long layoff in the middle.

Nope.  Mostly whitewater rivers up to this point.  Sea
kayaking is a very recent interest for me and I don't
yet even own a sea kayak (I am in the process of
buildng a CLC Chesapeake 17).
