I'm one of those folks who doesn't usually bother with
a lantern.  Sometimes I don't even take a flashlight. 
I just sleep when it is dark (or stumble around).

That said, I have a nice little butane lantern that is
small and light that would work well for you.  It is
made by Gaz.  I bought it many years ago but i think
they are still made.  Candle lanterns also work well
for a little light in a tent.
