Do that now and you would like fall over from losing your balance from all the waving and nodding. Another sign of the changing demographics. When I first ran those same parks, dogs would invariably pull on their leashes barking and trying to take a piece out of me. One loose Great Dane almost knocked me down when he jumped on my back. Sometime in the 1970s I started noticing that the dogs didn't even turn their heads at a passing runner.
