1 - If you need a map, you need it bad.
2 - If you plan a new trip, it will not be on a map you already have.
3 - If you choose a destination, it will not be on the same map as your origin.
4 - If you buy the maps you need, at least one will be out of stock.
5 - The one out of stock is the most critical.
6 - No map of any scale can be folded in such a way as to allow the entire
route to be seen on one side in a chart case.
7 - No day's paddle can be planned to fit on one map if it is folded to fit in
    a chart case.
8 - If you buy a larger chart case, the map that will fit will be out of stock.
9 - Waterproof maps are always available for every chart except the one you need.
10 - Geodetic surveying is done with astounding accuracy. GPS units display with
great accuracy. Maps are not drawn accurately.
11 - If you are red-green colorblind, the critical information is displayed in
a red font on a green background.
12 - Electronic charts are available for every region except the one you live in.
If it is available, it is in a format your software doesn't support. If
it is supported, it is out of stock.

Mike

PS - I need _two_ charts for a day paddle I offered to lead at the last minute
after the organizer had to drop out.
