Hi,

My husky loves to ride with me. He hates to swim or
be near water unless I'm in my kayak. Then, you can
not keep him out of the water. I borrowed a Keowee II
and he loved to ride with zero problems teaching him.
Now, he rides 3-4 miles in the cockpit of my touring
boat and loves to help me practice rolls in my ww
boat. A little extra volume helps :)

I really recommend getting a good doggy pfd. Falling
out in the middle of the lake would be a long swim for
even a water dog. I got a RuffWear K-9 Float Coat and
like the way it helps the dog stay in a natural
swimming position.

One more suggestion. If the dog has troubles sitting,
just let them jump out and swim for a bit. After
their energy gets worn off, sitting is much easier.

Have fun,

Scot
