I am very happy with Kajak Sport Hatches that I installed on my fiberglass boats. Used 3M 5200 to attach to the kayaks. Messy stuff to work with (use gloves and be outside) but very strong. I have installed 13 of these without a hint of failure. Completely waterproof. I have used primarily the approx. 9" one. It has worked well.
