[Paddlewise] Paddling Jacket question

I am considering purchasing a paddling jacket that will fit over both my 
spraydeck and PFD, so I will be able to put it on and take it off according 
to changing conditions without having to land on shore to do so safely.

Is anyone already doing this, and if so, how much larger a size than normal 
should I get? Unfortunately, I live in an area where none are available to 
try on.
