Hi There,
Rain can be devestating for any kayaker who happens to get caught in a
downpour. We all know that kayaking is a wet sport, but we don't need to get
drenched by rain. Merlin was asking about an overjacket. I haven't tried
this product but NRS have obviously thought about rain too!. Introduced this
year, NRS are producing an `over shell' jacket based on their breathable Sea
Tour paddling jacket - it's designed to fit over the PFD. I noticed it in
their new catalogue. It's also on their web site catalogue. Check out Re:
http://www.nrscatalog.com/ Needless to say I have no affiliation with
NRS,xcept as a happy customer.
As to the West Coast kayak Symposium. I will be there as part of Seaward
Kayaks marketing team. Seaward is my employer. Any paddlewiser will be
assured of a warm welcome at the Seaward booth.
