I've got some relatives down in Oz who are interested in buying a double kayak. The local kayak shop only carries Current Designs plastic boats. While here visiting on Vancouver Island we looked at a couple of Neckys and a Seaward, all of which where more impressive then either CD's plastic or composite boats. The Necky's are much narrower and I think longer as well - two features that appeal to my relatives. My question is does anyone know of an Australian supplier of double kayaks? They live in Adelaide - if that helps. They also sell Australian designed Mirage doubles - fibreglass. Canoes Plus in Melbourne sells Perception and Dagger kayaks and probably does sell fibreglass doubles made in Melbourne. In Adelaide Kayaks Plus is their best bet. Not sure what they distribute but I am sure could order from the other distributers. Your relatives should go into the websites of these three companies because they all sell a wide range of boats.
