I am storing it on a sort of shelving system made of 2'x4's in the garage. This puts the boat at car rack level so I can slide it on the car. I have put padding on the wood, but don't know if I should store the boat on the top or the bottom. The people I bought it from recommended traveling with it on the car with the cockpit down, but I have seen other people traveling with the cockpit up. Any suggestions?
