Sea Kayakers, My State Farm agent called underwriting yesterday and found out that kayaks are not covered under the homeowners policy, and right now he is trying to figure out how to insure kayaks. By the way, I told him before he checked that if kayaks are covered under the homeowners policy, I wanted a letter from him saying so. For a short time, I was an insurance property adjuster (hated it), so I know the kind of crap that goes on. Adjusters look for any way to deny the claim or minimize the payment.
