WRT dsihwashing gloves, a few people I know in this area use those big Yellow Playtex gloves. They are certainly not tight. Usually some liner beneath. For my purposes, having a tight-fitting glove works against me, in that it restricts circulation to my hands and they inevitably get colder. --And if they're wet it's even worse.
