In the Netherlands, there's the yearly Veluwerally, not really extreme, but still a challenge with distances of 35, 50 and 100 km. This year was the 25 th time they organized it, and I completed the 50 km in 6 hours. Because of a time limit, my physical condition and the somewhat lower speed of my Klepper Aerius I (compared to seakayaks), I don't think I'll ever try the 100 km (but you never know ;-).
