OziExplorer works with all common GPS units to display scanned maps & photos on your PC screen and then you can create routes/waypoints/tracklogs for download to the GPS. There is a method for creating custom vector maps for the GM100 using OziMC (MapCreate) together with OziExplorer, but it is far from trivial.
