A year or two ago I saw a "homemade" version of the JC Whitney Bed Extender http://jcwhitney.com/product.jhtml;$sessionid$BO0MRZIAABAQGQSNDV0SFFCCJUOXKIV0?CATID=338227&BQ=jcw2 being used to transport a couple of kayaks. They had even rigged up lights on the bed extender. They very much enjoyed not having to lift the boats beyond waist height to load them into the truck... They had tie downs on the bed extender and secured the bow toggles at the front of the truck bed. -- http://fastmail.fm - Does exactly what it says on the tin *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - Any opinions or suggestions expressed here are solely those of the writer(s).
