[Paddlewise] La Costa Del Golfo Expedition

Hi everyone,


Larry and I received a great response from our Texan paddlers, THANKS!.  Bout
have the entire Texas coast covered.  No response from any other states on the
Gulf coast. How bout our Florida, Alabama and Mississippi paddlers?  We can
use all da help we can get.  If not resupply contacts maybe you can help by
notifying the media prior to our arrival to your area of this wonderful body
of water we call the Gulf of Mexico.  We are going to be promoting ecotourisim
along the entire Gulf of Mexico's coast.

Greetings All,





As most may know Larry Koenig and I will be departing on the "La Costa Del
Golfo" seakayak expedition. ( www.lacostadelgolfo.com ) on February 2, 2003.
We have a request from our fellow paddlers around the coast of the Gulf of
Mexico.  This expedition will consist of 4,000 miles and almost seven months
circumnavigating the coast of the Gulf.  With that said we are hoping to have
contacts at various points along the Gulf coast of Mexico and the United
States that will be willing to accept resupplies to help support the
expedition. Our home base will be located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana where all
resupplies shall be shipped from and to our support groups around the Gulf.
We are hoping to have two or three contacts points in each area to assure that
someone can be contacted to receive the resupplies and mail back to Baton
Rouge any extra gear that may not be needed.  I am at this time compiling the
list of people that has already stated that they were willing to participate.
We could not have to many contacts to help us in our efforts and will be
looking forward to hearing from you.  Larry's wife will be receiving phone
calls from us during the expedition and we will inform her where and what
resupplies are needed.  With an expedition of this magnitude we can use all
the help we can get.  Anyone living near the Gulf coast that is willing to
