I subscribed to this list a few weeks back in the hopes of educating myself to traditional paddling. Y'all have delivered, thank you very much. Since I host 6 bulletin boards, I was buoyed to see that misinterpretations of opinions and comments aren't limited to my venue. I fish mostly plastic kayaks and I think like most newbie kayak anglers, without the fish, I wouldn't have started paddling. Funny how things change. I'm in the kayak fishing business, mostly a world apart from the paddling biz, so I asked the keeper of the list if it was OK to offer a few of my personal boats for sale to the list. Both are Heritage kayaks. One is a yellow tandem, the other an orange Expedition. Both are fully rigged, a few years new and were used as demos to evaluate their fishability. I would rate their condition as excellent. Those kayaks are $600 each OBO. I also have an Ocean kayak Fiberglass SOT, one of their first boats designed for diving and the predecessor to the modern sit on tops. It's more a collectors item but seaworthy and fishable and a treat for anyone who enjoys working with glass in the home shop. I'm asking $200. Keep laying on the skeg, coating and layup info please, it won't be long before I commission someone to build me the ultimate offshore bombproof fishing kayak. Thanks for all and Happy Holidays.
