I am strongly considering purchasing a Sierra Designs Meteor Light CD tent. Anyone out there with an opinion on this tent, solo tent size during layovers due to weather, free standing tents in general, or Sierra Designs? I have done my research and have simply been waiting for the 2002 line to go on clearance before posting these questions to PaddleWise. REI has them for $189.00. Ronnie you aren't allowed to comment. Your idea of a good nights rest in the winter is a sheet of 4 mil plastic overhead and a piece of foam cut to your profile underneath. Homeless people sleep with more protection you ugly bear. To your credit you could successfully create a shelter out of a trash bag, copious saliva and half a carton of coffee cups.......
