Boat US has a nice pair of Tasco Binoculars for a
great price right now. The local store didn't know
about the sale but honored it when I asked (and
insisted that they check the web page). I am very
happy with the purchase.

They work great even with my glasses on (if I fold the
eyecups back). I don't know if I will keep them
adjusted for use with glasses or without, but they
work fine either way. The calibrated eyepieces can be
set quickly once you know what diopter setting is best
for you (+2 for me).

I also used the $10 off card that came in the mail the
other day (required a $100 purchase, but I needed some
other stuff any way). The card also was for a free
rigging knife with a $75 purchase, so I got the $10
off and the knife in addition to the already good
price.

I had tried these binoculars before and considered
them at full price. At this price I couldn't resist.

I really bought them for use on the sailboat, but I
will probably use them in the kayak as well.

I have no connection with Boat US other than as a
customer.
