I paddle (whatever the term is)..."low" style... close to the deck. Would the mesh bag I am thinking of getting hold them? The idea here is to be able to paddle the Mississippi River, where you cannot fool around, you have to be totally focused all the time. I am trying to cut down on deck clutter. I would certainly enjoy a nice pair of binoculars, but they are useless if I cannot easily get to them. You folks who have nice big binocs, where do you put them? I might eventually turn into a birdwatcher, but that is not my main focus. (It might be worth becoming a birdwatcher just to join in making up the names...."That's a Wank-Webbed Cypress Nifter" <G>) thanks AGAIN Marsanne > Boat US has a nice pair of Tasco Binoculars for a > great price right now.
