My wife works with Ophthalmologists on a daily basis. When asked about any form of corrective surgery to the eye like Lasik or RK absolutely none of the Ophthalmologists will have it done on themselves. But they will perform it on others. Interesting. There is a bill board ad in town that cracks me up. It is for corrective eye surgery and the team of surgeons pictured all wear glasses. I have two friends who have had Lasik done. One in Canada and one in the US. Five years and no problems. Both had horrible vision and it did change their lives for the better.
