Maybe my feet are that much tenderer than Steve's, but I think the soles are too thin. Beaches are OK, but if I step on a good-sized pebble that's sitting on a flat rock surface, it hurts. I have narrow size 12 feet, but the size 11 Chotas fit me OK. Plenty of room for them in a Meridian.
