You need to check about bringing your food supplies from the US into Canada. Sometimes they refuge to let you bring more than three days worth of your own food and insist you buy your food in Canada. A lot of inexperienced people do the Yukon each year so you should be able to do it without a guide. I have not run that section of the Yukon but I have run it farther down stream and it is extremely silty so you will need to camp near tributaries so you can have a source of clean water. You will encounter tons of bugs so Be Prepared!
