In fact, I think that book, or something very similar to it, should come with every kayak purchase. The problem here is making people aware of the dangers associated with sea kayaking. Including the book with the purchase of the kayak does not a guarantee that they will read it. But I will bet more do then don't. And that would be a huge step in the right direction.
