Some of those things have more than 100 HP, and can go better than 60 MPH! I don't want to try and paddle with you when you are out hunting for "lake lice"! Most of us have no use for the skier. Just as I believe I am one with my kayak many Jet Skiers have a very close attachment to the Jet Ski. They even tie themselves to the ignition so they will not be separated from the ski. That fact and the harvesting methods described (torpedos, flare guns, etc) would indicate that the Jet Skier would be seriously injured if not killed in the hunt. For that reason I must still object to the hunt whether for the jet ski, the jet skier, or the combination. Mark J. Arnold V.P. Then you should have no objection to stalking the jet skis and taking them on the trailer, right? Or is that like shooting ducks on the nest? -- Steve Cramer Athens, GA *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - Any opinions or suggestions expressed here are solely those of the writer(s).
