Kenny,

You should really go back a ways and see what Strosacker did to the Arctic
Hawk. I did the same thing more or less at the same time and I don't think
you need to burden yourself with a retractable skeg. A simple 3 foot tapering
fixed skeg (hull extension) is a. easier to fabricate and b. all you need. I
tried to get the address using roll or die but the closest I could get was a
Black Plague Game. Ahhh... Mr. Strosacker?

As far as a foot pump is concerned, do you intend to replace that "foam,
rubber, or whatever" bulkhead Wilderness uses with ????, plywood, or just a
frame to fit the pump? I was thinking along the same lines but decided to go
with an electric pump instead. Gives me a bit more time to "study" the
subject before I have to get down to work. Can't rush into these things you
know.

Kevin
