That sounds like the dinghy dock.  Probably still
legal if it was only a few months ago.  I just
wondered if I'd always been missing something.

That's how I've always done it.  The route around the
south side of Lopez is definitely my favorite daytrip.
 But it's not something I'd do with my girlfriend or
our toddler!  Friday Harbor-Turn Is. is more
appropriate.

After the pull to Friday Harbor, the trot back to
Wash. Park is the least of my worries  ;-)  Other than
gagging on the exhaust from the disembarking vehicles,
I usually enjoy the chance to stretch my legs.
