I was away for a couple of weeks and didn't read my newspapers for a while. I was really late getting caught up on a few. I finally saw my May 1 issue and was pleased to see a photo of Paddlewise's Richard Culpeper paddling through some very cold looking white water. This photo must have hit the national press services since I live a couple of thousand kilometres from Richard. Usually kayaking only gets mentioned when someone dies or does something foolish, so it was good to see Richard's photo as a positive kayaking news item. Congratulations.
