[Paddlewise] Offsetting a Foot Pump

Hello all,

I am installing foot pumps in a couple of boats. The pumps need to be 
set six inches off the bulkhead. Anyone have a good idea for doing 
this effectively, easily and lightly?

I can't seem to find really long bolts that are fully threaded so I 
am thinking of mounting the pumps onto something that is in turn 
mounted to the bulkhead then foaming out the empty space on the sides 
of the pump.  Thanks!
