I have never heard anyone say that, but I don't know many Feathercraft owners.

Nope, I have unintentionally capsized in both my Feathercraft K-1 and 
K-Light.  I have done this in relatively benign conditions as a result of gross 
carelessness on my part.  Perhaps it's because they seem so stable that I get 
complacent.
