To whom it may concern:

I purchased the Thule outrigger and used it for awhile after my back
operation. I gave it to a friend and she has found it quite useful. She
has a Honda and a 14' Perception kayak. I forget name, maybe a Carolina.
One thing I noticed, there is a couple different ways to mount it to the
front rack if you have a fairing, so try mounting it out as far as possible
but watch your head (ouch). If you mount it to the rear rack you should
have no problem. I'm including a link to The RackWarehouse (no
affiliation)where I have purchase 3 Thule Rack Systems over the years and
have always had good luck when ordering from them. Don't know about there
return policy, never had to return anything.
