stephen, did you get any replies on this system? i put the thule racks with the J-Hull cradles for two boats (and mine whistles also - what could be causing it?) must be the racks themselves as I don't have the outrigger. At 5'0", I'm too short to lift a boat up and over the Js. I bought a suction/roller system that works great for sliding a boat up from the rear hatch, but I can't slide a boat on its side to slide it into the Js.
