Mark,
I haven't seen these actual bags in years now around the part of the world
where I dropped anchor, but I seem to remember the floatation gear bags
didn't have built-in flotation. I think they were just big gear bags. I seem
to recall some had an inflation tube (like a paddlefloat) that was attached
to the bag, so that you could lean over and blow up the remaining space with
air with the blow-valve.
