By the way, I once did a paddle from Imperial Beach, California to the Mexican border and back. While I was at the border, I thought that I could have a very steady business doing one-way kayak tours from Tijuana to Imperial Beach. However, when I landed back at Imperial Beach, the U.S. Border Patrol was waiting for me. Obviously, I wasn't the first one to think of it.
