Rafael, Sorry about that! I thought you were claiming and naming the paddlefloat re-entry and roll. Yes, the method of having the paddle blade under the thigh brace and spray-skirt to steady the kayak while pumping out is something that I haven't seen before. Although I am skeptical about how well the method would hold up when getting hit by a breaking wave, I will have to give it a try. Thanks for telling us about it. Duane > I agree with you that there is no magic in it, but.. the subtle point is that everybody has been discussing on how to keep the outrigger steady to use both hands to pump and I have suggested the paddle support under the thigh brace, which has been objected and nobody has mentioned that they have used it, and Matt and others questioned that you could not use it with the sprayskirt on. > > So I decided to make it explicit, prove that you can place the sprayskirt and still have the outrigger, and since Matt was requesting that it had a name I gave it one. *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - Any opinions or suggestions expressed here are solely those of the writer(s).
