Jim,
I think they are both great boats, but I am prejudiced.  The Coho and the
smaller Artic Tern 14 were favorably reviewed in Sea Kayaker Magazine.  I
think they are engineered to be the strongest, lightest S & G kayaks
available, and they perform well also.  My first Coho at 39 pounds was much
stronger than a fiberglass hull.  I am building a second one now.  I have an
