Have a quick question for those of you that have been to Voyageurs NP. What can we expect for water temps this time of year? Long range weather looks good 70 F days and mid 40's nights but I don't have a feel for water temps. 7 of us are doing the loop around the peninsula. Oh, one other question I get the impression that a clockwise route is better to take the prevailing winds to our backs for the Rainey Lake portion.
