I'd contact Ed Gillet in San Diego. Many years ago (1980's) he paddled from
Terra del Fuego to Columbia up the West coast of South America in an
pre-1990's Seda Viking.
Oops, I just tried looking for him. My favorites link to Southwest Sea
Kayaks brought up a porn site. A Google search lead me to a discussion group
thread of folks who had paddled with him and were trying to contact him but
without success. Maybe you will have more luck than I did in finding him.
