Hi All-

We are contemplating purchasing a trailer for
transporting kayaks for our regular club activities
and our kid's paddling program.

Does any one have a good source for trailers? Not
exactly sure how many boats we will need to transport,
but will probably get the best we can for our budget.

Also, thanks to all who replied and gave us such good
advice for our kids paddling program.

Thanks-

Jack Gilman

A few people in my area use a trailer from the following source.
I've never used them since I use a roof rack, but those who do use
them seem very pleased. I have no connection (financial or
otherwise) with the company, but have paddled with the company's
owner occasionally.

I have a kayak trailer that I bought new on eBay from a guy whose eBay
screen name is golden25. I have a friend who also bought a trailer
from the same guy. He pretty much always has them. They are relatively
inexpensive. He has a variety of designs that hold from one kayak to
10. Mine holds four, my friend's holds six. I'm very happy with it.
My friend's trailer is galvanized metal, mine is painted. If I had it
to do over again, I'd get the galvanized. Also, he has an option for
upgraded tires. They're worth it if you will carry your kayaks any
distance.
