G'Day, Just finished the Hawkesbury Classic a couple of hours ago. Its an overnight paddle where the principal means of locating your position is compass readings and very effective it was too. But in reply to your question whatever lights your compas should light your map. If this sounds too obvious forgive me I'm still light headed from the paddle.
