My club (ConnYak) uses a monthly newsletter, and a BBS. Our BBS is very heavily used, and has become our primary means of communication, especially for those who are paranoid about spam (They just don't put their email addresses in the messages). Personally, I get about 100 - 150 spams a day, and I couldn't care less....... Mailing lists work pretty good, too, but someone has to administer them & keep all the addresses current.
